“From Champagne To Murder” is a detective game, which uses the innovative “Dialog Web” as its central mechanic.

This new mechanic is a deviation from the standard Dialog Tree to a more open form of Dialog System. It orients itself on the essentials of Network Theory and the proven fun of Wiki Games. The game is meant as an exploration of that new mechanics.

Some Tips:

  • Remember, not everything she talks about is important
  • Some nodes might be more hidden, requiring you to ask about specific topics to reach them
  • She is probably going to avoid talking about the actual location of the murder

I would like to get some help? I have seen a good chunk of the dialogue but I just can't seem to put it together.

I know roughly where she went and where, when she was alone, when she wasn't. But I can't seem to pin point when she offed that guy.

Also great game! love the artstyle and concept. I am a big fan of info collecting games like this

Hey! Thank you for playing!

She doesn't actually say when exactly, because she refuses to talk about the actual location of the murder. You will have to slowly eliminate all the options until there is only one left.

If you are still stuck here's a tip: They were still together at Cozy Camping, but she was alone on the viewing platform.

Also, the last node you need to find for a perfect game is quite hidden. You need to really look for a way  to that dialog point! But you can also just take a guess haha :D

Maybe you also like this game I made a while ago. It's similar and also a kind of "collecting-info-game" https://vin-botthin.itch.io/filetektive (Also way easier to actually solve)

can i get some kind of help pls?

Thank you for playing!!! Sure thing. Where are you stuck?

Very cool idea. Wish there was a way to skip text because I've played it a few times and still haven't found the solution, so I don't need to watch the text animation for most of it. Also, wish there was a way to get hints after failing 3 times.

Pretty cool! I couldn't end up solving it lol, but it was a cool process of trying to put everything together, like one giant logic puzzle
